This month\u2019s fly is an experimental one.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s a fly called \u2018The Spectra Nymph\u2019.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Now there are many variations of this pattern, so I thought we\u2019d get members to see what weird and wonderful creations they can come up with.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

I will guide on how to tie, and give the list of materials, but colours I\u2019ll leave up to the individual.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Hook: Hanak H450BL or Basic Nymph Hook. Size #12, #14 or #16<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Body: Spectra or Diamond Brite Dubbing. (Any Colour)<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Tail: Hackle Fibres.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Thorax: Spectra or Diamond Brite Dubbing (Any Colour), or Peacock Herl.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Rib: Copper, Gold, Silver or Coloured wire.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Bead: Gold, Copper, Silver, Black or Coloured.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Hotspot: Fluorescent Thread. Hot Pink or Orange.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

With the spawning run approaching, the fish will be quite aggressive and not as selective, so it\u2019s a great time to experiment and try something different, and out of the ordinary.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Should be a bit of fun, and we can compare patterns and have a laugh at the end.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n
