Email system restored \u2013 thank goodness.\u00a0 Our shift means that emails from @canberra-anglers.asn.au will get through to Hotmail, yahoo and some other systems.<\/p>\n
Just a gentle reminder, while we\u2019ve had quite a rush of new members since the casting, plus some suggestion from long ago members enthused by our 80th<\/sup> birthday, there are a few of our \u2018regulars\u2019 not paid.\u00a0 That\u2019s ok, situations change etc, but membership is essential for attendance at our outdoor events for insurance reasons.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve had a number of club events which are reported on here \u2013 some excellent results early in the season, unfortunately we seem to be getting in hot weather early, please consider the conditions if you are fishing in the streams.<\/p>\n Thanks as always to Greg S for his tips \u2013 some very interesting items here this month.<\/p>\n Also thanks to our busy Secretary who has prompted me to include a few items that will be useful, especially for our newly joined members.\u00a0 She and I are trying to think how make our ever growing knowledge base to be more accessible to all \u2013 some attempts have been made and discussed later in this edition.\u00a0 I\u2019ve also tweaked our \u201cHow to use our Blog<\/a>\u201d page to reflect the knowledgebase construct.<\/p>\n
