I attempted to order a Jungle cock cape from www.troutcatchers.com in England. I then received the following from troutcatchers:
Once again thank you for your order. Just to let you know when purchasing Jungle Cock outside the EU it is legally necessary to obtain a CITES certificate from DEFRA, which we can obtain on your behalf, fees for this service are £79.97
More info www.troutcatchers.co.uk/cites-certificate-c2x17217724
Needless to say I have cancelled the order and will look to local resources as well as rethink my need for Jungle Cock eyes which I was hoping to use to dress Jindy Horrors which have been a successful fly for me when spotting for the large browns which patrol Lake Jindabyne shorelines after spawning runs have finished.
I have sent this just for the information of members who were wanting or thinking of ordering Jungle Cock Capes from overseas.

I guess it will be buying it outside of the UK after Brexit. Maybe buying it in Europe is better? DPSG in Paris had an interesting range (CDC, high grade hackles etc) and web shop. Not the cheapest, but some options not available over here.
