Apologies for the ‘false start’ in issuing this edition – I forgot about an important item from the Committee relating to reporting our catches for trophy consideration – now added.

Ray and I have been in NZ so this edition is a bit of a rush job, leaning heavily on stuff uploaded to our Whatsapp channel plus some additional contributions including the Canberra Times permitting me to reproduce an article from the paper – thanks folks.  I’m gobsmacked by the effort that Claude and his team have put into the report on their recent trip to NZ.  Great fish over a large area of South Island.
