Due to the significance of the recent mass fish deaths in March, the NSW Government has established an independent inquiry process. The report is expected by 31 Aug.

NSWCFA has written to a number of Australian and New Zealand Ministers expressing concerns. In particular that the move may contravene an Australian/New Zealand agreement for Closer Economic Relations.

New Zealand is considering placing significant restrictions on non-residents fishing. Consultation closes 27 Mar.

Accommodation is in 2 huts accommodating 4 people in each.

No camping, no electricity, bring your own bedding, food. Toilet is available but no showers.
