G’day All, as a remote member after registering the family for the fishing clinic in the newsletter, it was a pleasant surprise to find no only the CAA pamphlet but also a CAA drink cooler in the Gone Fishing goodie bag. Not only that, but it was in my son’s favourite colour.
Suffice to say, they benefit of having someone other than the parent advising how to fish was great, with this junior member now able to tie a full blood knot, cast an egg beater, and read the whole Freshwater Fishing Guide and the fish ruler. Apparently the map in the guide shows where murray cod are, including Canberra, and now the pressure’s on to get a goodoo and an atlantic salmon – no pressure.
