   I evacuated from Jindy the day before the road closures. The Moonbah is empty and even the Thredbo is very ordinary. Without rain there’s very little fishing. Shaun

   I was in Mallacoota early in Dec and was told by a number of reputable sources that I should have been at Eucumbene. This was endorsed jusr before these fires started too. Will be interesting to see if this continues when we regain access. I can remember the fish in the lakes being very active after the 2004 fires. (Apologies for slow approval of your comment post)
